Emergency Preparedness is the art of identifying one’s risks and hazards, and planning accordingly to prevent, mitigate, prepare, respond, and recover. You can prepare for a number of your environments be it at home, at work, at school, on the road, in the outdoors. Ensure you plan for the applicable number of people and time period. For example, in planning for your drinking water and food for 3 days, a family of four will require more than a single parent with child. Your range of weather possibilities will vary from one part of the globe to another, same for your seismic risk. Always plan, practice, and improve.
